GRX acts as a single access and connection point between participating registries. When an authorised request arrives, GRX routes it to the appropriate source registry and returns the response to the requesting party – without taking ownership of the information or creating a central registry of company records.
GRX also handles the technical differences between systems: requests and responses are transmitted in a way the receiving registry understands, without changing or reinterpreting the underlying information.
Simplified conceptual flow. Actual permissions, information handling and service availability require technical confirmation.
Example
A registry authority receives a request about a company seat abroad. Instead of contacting the foreign registry through a separate channel, it sends one request via GRX and receives the authoritative answer directly from the source registry in a standardised format.
Trust is essential when exchanging official registry information across borders. GRX is designed to support secure and controlled access to registry services without replacing the source registries or taking ownership of their information.
Information is provided by the registry responsible for maintaining it, rather than from a separate central registry of company records.
Access to participating services is subject to the permissions, agreements and conditions applicable to each registry. Each participating registry decides what it makes available and to whom and can set the terms under which its data may be accessed.
Participating registry authorities continue to operate their own registries and retain responsibility for their authoritative records.
GRX is designed to make interoperability possible without requiring registry authorities to replace their existing registry platforms.
Depending on the services involved, GRX can use existing interfaces and adaptors to help different systems connect. Some integrations may require configuration or additional development.
Application programming interfaces (APIs) enable systems to request and receive registry information through automated processes, supporting integration into existing workflows.
A browser-based interface provides a way for authorised users to access available registry services without integrating them directly into their own systems.
What about adaptors?
Adaptors help GRX work with different existing registry interfaces and technologies to reduce integration effort significantly. They are an integration capability, not a third way of accessing GRX.
Every registry operates within its own technical, legal and organisational environment. Our team can work with your registry authority to understand your needs, explore available services and discuss the most appropriate route to participation.
You do not need to have all the technical answers before contacting us. An initial discussion is a useful way to identify opportunities, understand integration requirements and explore the next steps.
Tell us about your registry, your objectives and the cross-border services you would like to explore. An initial discussion is free of charge and without obligation.
Review your organisation’s role, credentials and the participation requirements that apply.
Identify the information and services you want to make available and discuss relevant access conditions.
Review your existing systems and interfaces and agree on the integration and onboarding requirements.
Following the necessary approvals, configuration and testing, make agreed services discoverable to authorised participants.
These are proposed stages based on the introduction deck, not a guarantee of automatic approval or a fixed onboarding timeline.
GRX charges a single transaction fee for services requested through the platform. There are no licence fees, no connection fees and no costs for making your registry available to authorised participants. The fee is charged per data request received through GRX.
